Precision Cutting Tools. (PCT) was founded in 1963 and ever since has specialized in the production of high-quality and high performance cutting tools. Today, with over fifty years of experience, PCT is a leading cutting tool manufacturer that distributes its products all across North America and Europe. We base our company’s success on our long-standing commitment to satisfy our customers’ needs, by utilizing the finest raw materials, introducing innovative cutting tools and providing excellent customer service. What makes us different than other manufacturers is our pledge to offer the best turnaround times for specials in the industry. While many of our competitors deliver in weeks and months, we deliver it in days.
In 2006, PCT started its in-house coating facility. Because of our strict quality control and minimal rejection rate, PCT Coating Solutions has become the choice for many of the regions aerospace, automotive, and medical industries for their PVD coating needs.
In 2008, PCT started manufacturing carbide endmills and drills. Through our partnership with a German owned family company, we were able to compete at a high level in performance, while manufacturing here in California.
Today, PCT is one of a few companies that still offer Cobalt tooling, Carbide Tooling, and coating services all under one roof.
In May 2018, Precision Cutting Tools was proud to announce that it had become a member of the IMC Group. In a partnership between the Sheth Family and the IMC Group, Precision Cutting Tools continues to operate as an independent brand, with our own products and distributor network.
In late summer 2018, PCT will be moving its operations to a 60,000 square foot facility in La Palma, CA. This will allow us to expand our capacity and continue to dedicate ourselves to our core competency of having the best-in-industry delivery on special, high-quality, solid end mills and long drills.
Comprised of 13 companies, with over 130 subsidiaries in 60 countries, the IMC Group has a portfolio of companies that produce a comprehensive line of high precision carbide metal working tools. A wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, the IMC Group is headquarted in Tefen, Israel where it was founded in 1952. Since then, it has grown to become the second largest company for metalcutting products in the world.
